I arrived about 9:50PDT with Sara and Jaclyn. It was mild and windy and a little hazy. The field looks a little dryer, but there is standing water in the low areas still. The Sacramento and San Joaquin Rivers look high and muddy. We saw two ships on the San Joaquin, one going down and one coming up.

The screen for the LGR was not displaying. I restarted the LGR but that did not fix the screen. I got the LGR reading off Logger net on the netbook.
8:49PST, 29.60C, 136.50Torr, 13.89usec, 10Hz, 1.89ppm

The netbook would not connect to the CR1000 at first. Resetting the USB adapter fixed this. But then the numeric display had no fields. I added the fields and everything looked fine. The LI7700 RSSI was about 39. There was some bird poop in the middle of the bottom mirror but this is not in the laser path. Cleaning the mirrors brought the RSSI back up to 69.

We scouted the area south of the ponds for a site and looked around Frank’s tower a bit.
