Summary: Flew Kite, LI7700 spray head not in place - fixed.
| Mayberry 2011-07-07 I arrived with Jaclyn, Jose, and Maribel about 12pm. It was warm and sunny with a good breeze from the west. Water plants continue to spread in the water. The kite flew with camera. Jose walked it around the big tule patch to the west. Next time I think it need to be flown higher. The LI7700 mirrors had an RSSI off about 16% when I arrived. The spray head had been left of after the calibration check last time. I refilled the reservoir which was about half empty and reaffixed the spray nozzle to spray on the mirror. After cleaning the mirrors with alcohol the RSSI was about 77% I collected data from the CR1000 and the CR23x. Jaclyn downloaded data from the tule tower. The autocam was off. I swapped cards and restarted it. The solar panels looked clean. We found lots of crayfish parts around the edges of the safflower bales. I guess otters or raccoons eat there. |
