Summary: Losing power over night, removed 7700 and 7500 prepping for decommissioning of the site.
| West Pond 2024-01-04 Dennis and I arrived at 12:55. It was clear sunny and mild with little to no wind. This site has been losing data again due to failing solar power. Because of many other sensor failures and vegetation growth that has made our footprint suspect we have decided to decommission this tower. Water level was 53.5cm – I guessed badly in the last notes. I shutdown the power to the 7700 and the 7500. We removed the 7700 sn TG1-0155 and the 7500 sn 1594. I left the 7550 box and sonic since it would be hard to remove all the cables and this way nothing was left open to the weather. The system should continue to record met data for now. We also left the Canon camera off and I brought the card in. I collected the flux, met, camera and minDot data. I dropped the miniDot desiccant in the wetland so added a fresh one to the case.
