Robert and I arrived at 13:35 PDT along with out guest of the day, Patrick. Patrick is a MBA student who is interested in carbon sequestration start-ups after graduation. It was a beautiful fall day, sunny and warm with a cool breeze. We herded 1 sheep along the interior roads but we didn't see any other sheep around.

The water level is still going down and the staff gauge read 15cm.The surface under the tower is still submerged, but just barely. The miniDOT was barely in the water, but it's as low as it can be without being in the mud. I lowered the conductivity sensor slightly by pulling more slack from the coiled line.

The willow tree by the platform is getting big and might be shading the radiometers during low sun angles. Robert trimmed some of the larger trunks that were closest to the radiometers. Max tule height was within 50cm of the rad boom, which might be affecting the air flow around the sensors. We discussed raising the sensors to get around this, and Robert suggested adding another level of scaffolding. Joe says this would extend the footprint out too long. I think we're ok for now as long as we keep the willow tree trimmed back.

I downloaded met, cam, and USB GHG. The wash reservoir was 80% full; we refilled it. Patrick and Robert cleaned flux and rad sensors. Looking at the data back in the lab, PARin was dirty as there was a big drop in the last few days. Hopefully the cleaning helped.

The 7500 read: 408ppm CO2, 491mmol/m3 H2O, 27.0C, 101.5kPa, 97SS – 99 after cleaning
The 7700 read: 1.95ppm CH4, 38RSSI – 87 after cleaning
