Robert and I arrived at 12:05 PDT along with Patrick, a MBA student who is interested in carbon sequestration start-ups after graduation. It was a beautiful fall day, breezy and mild.The plants are starting to senesce.

The water level is still super low, below the staff gauge. I meant to bring a long piece of conduit today and install the water level sensor horizontally in the channel (no well required!), but I forgot I reserved a sedan for the day, not a truck. Next time.

I downloaded met, cam, and USB GHG data. The eddy clock was <15sec off, so I didn't change it this time. Patrick and Robert cleaned the flux and rad sensors and topped off the wash reservoir.

I inspected some of the TCs that were giving bad data. They need more work and conduit another time. I also want to mount the AM25T in the enclosure slightly higher so it's easier to access the cable openings at the bottom.
Supplies needed: spare TC wire, the soldering iron, electrical tape, conduit.
(TC1) Wat1_Ts32 - occasional spikes downward
(TC5) Wat1_Tw10 - occasional noise
(TC6) Wat1_Tw30 - accidentally pulled out
(TC7) Wat1_tw50 - need new TC wire
(TC8) Wat1_Tw100- chewed in half near the mud
(TC10) Tul1_ts16 - Intermittently goes crazy for weeks at a time
(TC13) Tul1_Tw10 - missing since 9/6
(TC18) Tul2_Ts2 - T > 30 during hot days so location needs to be checked
(TC23) Wat2_Tw4 - Started going crazy 9/18

The 7500 read: 404ppm CO2, 675mmol/m3 H2O, 24.5C, 100.9kPa, 98SS -- 101 after cleaning
The 7700 read: 1.95ppm CH4, 36RSSI – 85 after cleaning

We left at 12:45 PDT.
