Joe and I arrived at 9:30 PDT. It was a warm and still day with blue skies above but hazy horizons. The Rio Vista EPA AirNow site reported an AQI around 100, between â€œModerateâ€ and â€œUnhealthy for Sensitive Groups.â€

There were a few wasps buzzing around. We left some mothballs in the boxes with the met CR1000, dfPAR CR10X, and solar charge controller.

There is finally (a little) water under the tower and the water sensors were in the water. The staff gauge read 18cm. Unfortunately the higher water level also meant it was a little inconvenient for Joe to swap out the solar system batteries.

Joe swapped out the old batteries (group 27 deep cycle flooded batteries) for 4 new sealed AGM batteries (sn BB-EE). He sprayed the battery terminals with an anti-corrosion grease. The system had been running the past week on 1 new deep cycle flooded battery which we removed and brought back to the lab to recharge.

I downloaded met, camera, USB GHG, and miniDOT data. I swapped the miniDOT and water level sensor desiccant and did the yearly swap of the miniDOT batteries. We cleaned flux and rad sensors and topped off the wash reservoir, which had been 80% full. Joe helped me adjust the picam angle and tighten the mount. I removed eosGP sn GP20160096 to send back to the factory. It was reading 5V both in air and in water.
