Arrived about 10:00am with Jaclyn, cool, clear, sunny, very light wind from the southeast. Field is dry enough to walk on. Big generator was in place and running. We are still running on the sign generator. Power had gone out overnight, computer had shutdown.

Talked to Jim. They will have tractors in the field next week. I pulled all of our ground sensors out of the field. They hope to plant about April 15th and to flood the field about three weeks after planting.

LGR CH4 and H2O were not line locked (reading –1.0) when we arrived due to cold restart after power outage. Hard restart fixed the line lock. Talked to LGR and got instructions on how to tune lasers to better start cold. Though, may not be able to find a tuning that works for all temp found in the field.

Jaclyn calibrated the LGR with cal tank: 3.276ppm CH4 and 433.0ppm CO2

Put Verizon link back to always on. A little data transmitted but quit again. Will try a scripting method.

Added ZapSnap utility to save portions of the screen to png files in D:/Screens folder. Still need to add registration number.

Funnel part or rain bucket was upside down – maybe blew off or got knocked off.
