Summary: Swapped scroll pump, Collected photos from plantcam and web cam, Added ZapSnap utility. Took soil cores.

3/11/2010 Arrived about 11:50 with Jaclyn. The field was dry enough to drive on with minivan. Warm, sunny and very little wind from the southeast. Field appears very green from bridge. Cows are still heavily grazing. Inside cow fence, grass and pepper weed about 40cm high. Walt was in the field with a tractor with corn bales to feed cows. I swapped the scroll pump. Pump removed has two serial numbers: GVSP30 sn CF037, and ESDP30A sn 983071037. This pump was removed with 7322.2 hours. The LGR was reading 155.10Torr so maybe flow was not so good. LGR old pump 11:50am, 2.302ppm, 23.33C, 155.10Torr, 13.358usec New pump is GVSP30 sn 044012498 and only has 140 hours on it. LGR new pump 12:35pm, 1.917ppm, 22.33C, 142.97Torr, 13.322usec, 141.2hrs, 10Hz Calibrated the LGR with field tank of 1.976ppm CH4 (last cal March 3, 2010 – lab) Pre Cal: 2:05pm, 1.964ppm, 21.81C, 142.39Torr, 13.323usec Post Cal: 14:09, 1.977ppm, 21.74C, 142.35Torr, 13.342usec LGR back in high flow mode 14:11, 1.960ppm, 21.77C, 143.58Torr, 13.303usec, 10Hz Collected photos from plantcam and web cam. Plantcam’s clock is 15 minutes ahead of PST to allow photos to be taken starting at 7:15am to match web cam (plantcam’s settings only allow on hour start) Collected fast rad data and met data to check on diffuse radiation Added ZapSnap utility to capture screen portions and save to png file in d:\Screens folder. Need to add registration number. Took soil cores with Jaclyn. |
