Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, very windy, lots of bird poop
| 2019-08-07 Sherman Wetland Robert, Ariane, and I arrived at 10:05. It was windy and sunny with mostly clear skies. Ariane lost her baseball cap to the wind. The water level is up again, and there is water under the tower. The water level was 66 cm. Some of the plants near the tower were looking brown, probably from water stress when the water level was low. Robert cleaned flux and rad sensors—there was lots of bird poop on the 7700 mirror. Ariane cleaned the precip bucket, which also had a lot of bird poop. The wash reservoir was empty; we refilled it. I downloaded met, cam, and USB GHG data. LI-7500 readings: CO2 393ppm H2O 720ppm T 22.8C P 101.2kPa SS 98 --> 100 LI7700 readings: CH4 2.1 ppm RSSI 21--> 80 after cleaning We left at 10:25. |
