Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, spectral, crew repaving Sherman Island Road, removed water level sensor desiccant tube
| 2019-08-07 Sherman Barn Robert, Ariane, and I arrived at 9:25. It was mild and sunny with clear skies and a cool breeze. The pasture was mostly brown. We didn’t see any cows on the field. A road crew was repaving the main road (Sherman Island Cross Road) between the highway and the levee road. Robert trimmed weeds in our enclosure. Ariane took spectral measurements. Robert cleaned flux and rad sensors. The wash reservoir was mostly full; we topped it off. I downloaded met, cam, USB GHG, and game camera data. I removed the water level sensor desiccant tube to move to EE, since we are short one and I think it will be more humid at EE than at SB. LI-7500 readings: CO2 394ppm H2O 800ppm T 23.5C P 101.4kPa SS 101--> 102 after cleaning LI7700 readings: CH4 2.0ppm RSSI 37-->73 after cleaning We left at 9:45. |
