Summary: LGR installed after cleaning mirrors in lab, high flow dirtied mirrors, pulled again.

7/24/2009 In Lab – cleaned mirrors on LGR. Major problems ccaused by powered rubber gloves. Finally got a ring-time of 16 usec using bare hands. At Sherman about 11:30am. Installed LGR ran low flow mode, did calibration. All looks well. In Hi flow ring time steadily degraded from 15usec to about 8usec. I guess there was dirt in internal replacement filter. Pulled LGR for another mirror cleaning. Notes for future 1) don’t use gloves 2) get fresh chemicals from big jars in chemical cabinet 3) make sure internal filter replacement is brand new |
