Summary: Swapped LGRs.

8/6/2009 Arrived about 2pm. Very clear, sunny, light breeze. Lost my notes on LGR status number – recreating from memory. Original LGR was in low flow mode pressure ~155 Torr, ring time ~10.8 usec. Pulled original LGR – one of the sliding rails was damaged – pulled rails. Pulled tubing to scroll pump because new LGR was different fitting on back. Installed new LGR and new line to scroll pump (1/2” tubing and Swagelok fittings). Did calibration in slow flow mode. Had to adjust bypass valve a lot for high flow mode to get 143 Torr pressure (expected going from diaphragm to scroll pump). I ran cal gas through external 2um filter. Seemed to be gunk in cal gas tank fitting – blown clear but still suspect. Need to buy plugs for gas tanks left in the field. New LGR running with about 15.5 usec ring time holding steady. Data in winflux and cr1000. Good suction at inlet on tower. Swapped CR1000 flash card. |
