Summary: Downloaded camera comparison photos, workers collecting bales
2018-09-27 Bouldin Alfalfa Joe and I arrived around 14:30. It was sunny and warm, with wispy clouds. They are picking up the bales today. The FD chamber was buzzing, so I let it be. We downloaded photos from the camera comparison: a Bushnell game camera, a Bushnell HD game camera, a hacked Canon camera, and the usual Stardot photos. The Bushnell HD camera only had a few photos on it because it may had been in motion-sense mode. The raspberry pi camera was on, but had not been taking photos in the past 2 weeks, and no preview photo came up. I restarted the camera, the preview photo came up, and it started taking timelapse photos again. The clock was still wrong: when the time was 2018-09-27 13:50 PST, the pi time was 1969-12-31 15:36. I set the program to take photos at 30-min interval starting at the top of the hour to match time (:15 and :45) of photos from other cameras. E.g., The pi photo at “15:00†will be about the same time as a Canon photo at 13:15. I will ask Ingo if there’s a way to sync the camera and system time from the web interface. I’m guessing I jiggled the real-time clock when installing the pi last week, which reset the pi clock. We left at 15:00. |
