Summary: Put soil sensors back in the field, swapped HMP fan
| 2018-09-27 Bouldin Corn Joe and I arrived around 15:10. It was sunny and warm, with wispy clouds. The corn has been harvested, probably on Saturday, 2018-09-22. We put the VWC sensors and SHF plates back in the field at the surface. We retaped the thermocouples because some had come loose or shifted to a different height. We reinserted the rod horizontally at the surface (all sensors measuring 2 cm) because we didn’t have a pilot rod. We cleaned the flux, rad, and Arable sensors and swapped the HMP60 fan, which was not running. We left at 15:55. |
