| 2018-05-31 Bouldin Alfalfa We arrived at 10:50. It was warm, breezy, and hazy. The field has been mowed but not baled. Katrina took LAI measurements. The initial “below†measurement file, “BA0531†didn’t work, so she took a second “below†file, “BA0531B.†Alex collected biomass samples and measured veg height. I collect met, camera, and USB GHG data. Alex cleaned the rad sensors and refilled the wash reservoir. I cleaned the flux sensors. The 7500 didn’t look obviously dirty, even though SS was 0 and initial CO2/H2O were out of range. LI-7500 readings: CO2 ***ppm --> 416 after cleaning H2O ***ppm --> 425 after cleaning T 18.6C --> 20.6 after cleaning P 101.3kPa --> 101.4 after cleaning SS 0 --> 112 after cleaning LI7700 readings CH4 2.0ppm RSSI 55 --> 72 after cleaning We left at 11:45. After coming back from the field, I saw that CO2/H2O flux data had been out since 2018-05-19 evening. I didn't see anything obvious (spraying, tractor work) in the phenocam photos. |
