Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, added miniDOT
| 2018-05-31 West Pond We arrived at 14:55. It was warm and breezy with sunny clouds. The water level looks a little higher; the water sensors are submerged again. We dropped Alex off at the East Pond outlet on our way from EP to WP. She cleared out the decaying matter. The pond started draining and she walked back to meet us at WP. I downloaded met, camera, and USB data. Katrina cleaned the rad and flux sensors. The wash reservoir was mostly full; we did not refill it. I tightened the camera mount on the tower, but the mount inside the camera enclosure could also use tightening. I deployed a miniDOT sensor sn 899502 off the NW tower corner near the other water sensors. It’s half in the water; we might need a longer string in the future. LI-7500 readings: CO2 404ppm H2O 475ppm T 23.1C P 101.4kPa SS (did not get dirty #s) --> 103 after cleaning LI7700 readings CH4 1.94ppm RSSI (did not get dirty #s) --> 73 after cleaning We left at 15:15. |
