Summary: Very foggy and muddy, slippery roads. Swapped the GHG system, added grounds to FR co2 probes, lots of ants in the 23x box, did not collect camera images, need to swap tule PAR sensor

I arrived at 9:50 with Kyoko and Hisashi. There was heavy fog. We could see the droplets in the air and heavy dew formed on all surfaces. There was little to no wind. Duck hunting seems to have started - sounded like lots of gun fire. The road was very muddy and slippery - we had four-wheel-drive and probably needed it.

I swapped out the Licor GHG system because Licor thinks the pump problem is inside the 7700, the 7500 was due for calibration and I needed to paint the 7550 box. sn AIU-0614, sn 0065, and sn TG1-0357 went on the tower. sn AIU-1285, sn 75H-2514 and sn TG1-0224 Came off the tower.

Before the swap:
The 7700 read 9.5RSSI and 2.669ppm CH4
The 7500 read 389.7ppm CO2, 813mmol/m3 H2O, 60.0SS, 10.78C, 102.36kPa

After the swap
The 7700 read: 47.3RSSI, 2.636ppmCH4
The 7500 read: 471.1ppm CO2, 2786mmol/m3 H2O, 98.46SS, 11.40C, 102.12kPa
The numbers look weird, but I think it was just due to the water in the air. The 7500 reported 470ppm CO2, which wasn’t so different from other sites I found out later, but the H2O? The clock also seemed strange, at 10:21PST it said 2:18. This might be some offset to UTC but I couldn’t figure it out at the time, so I let it be.

The 23X box was full of ants some of which were dead in moisture at the bottom. I put the ground wire pig tails on the Forerunner probes and attached them to the 23x analog grounds. This might clear up the waves in the data.

Tul1, TS16 was reading about 50C and PAR tule was Inf - this is the one that got sheared by the folding arm. Need to swap this out next time.

I forgot the camera until the end. I cleaned its window and the camera looked like it was off. The power may have gone out at some point. I restarted the camera but did not collect the images.

The HMP45 fan may need to be replaced.

I picked up the 7700 wash box that was left last time for the wasp to leave.

After looking at the data, only three complete days in the last two weeks due to low power.
