Summary: Swapped 7700 wash box. Did not fix pump problem. Checked DO probe wiring - DO labeled surface in data is really tule. Recorded general water table height in vegetation patches.

We arrived about 09:50 PST. It was cold, foggy, and overcast. Sara took water samples and cleaned the water instruments. I downloaded data.

We swapped the 7700 washbox to see if it fixed the pump problem but it didnâ€™t work. The pump was still constantly on. I rebooted the 7700. After reboot, the settings page in the 7700 software listed the pump as on. I pressed the button to turn it off. It turned off but then I couldnâ€™t get it to turn on again. The problem is somewhere in the 7700 itself.

We need more ant bait for the 23x box. We used the only ant bait we brought for Sherman.

I checked the DO probe wiring. After consolidating sensors a while ago, the DO probe in the tules has been labeled in the data as the open water surface probe. Itâ€™s not a problem to fix in the data since itâ€™s the only probe out there.

I also checked the water table height in the vegetation so we have a reference between that in the channel vs veg (water table height in data is indicative of the channel). Current water table height in the veg was 60-80 cm at 10am.
