Summary: Rewired met power to main solar, new fence charger, swapped 7500, solar panels dirty, soil co2 need reset.

Vaira 2014-09-11 I arrived about 9:15 with Siyan. It was clear sunny and warm with a little breeze from the southwest. The trees are starting to turn color. Looks like there have been some cows knocking down the dead grasses. Also it looked like cows might have entered the fence, but I found no breaks in the fence. The fence charger was dead. I stole the battery from the met system and installed a brand new fence charger. It was working when we left. I rewired the met system into the main solar system removing a splice from the power line in the process. The 23x has been losing data at night for a while now. Siyan replaced the battery two visits ago, and I found the solar panel all turned away from the sun last time. But the 23x has still been losing data at night and reset its clock by 4 hours. Hopefully using the main solar system will fix the power problem. At 9:09 the 23x read 5:04 and was reset. Looking at the data, the clock jumped starting September 3rd (246) at 17:30. I down loaded data and swapped the 7500 - sn 0073 came off and sn 0035 went on. Siyan did the standard fieldwork. All the solar panels are dusty and need to be washed. The west and north soil CO2 sets have been knocked out of the ground and need to be reset.
