Summary: Standard fieldwork, Joe fixed fence at Vaira, reinstalled CO2 profile system, trees starting to turn color, midday water potential

When: Date: 9/11/2014 , Day: 254 , Watch Time: 9:20 am . Where: Tonzi/Vaira Ranch Who: Siyan Weather: clear, sunny, nice breeze Phenology: golden grasses; oak leaves turned into yellow and brown Summary Swapped memory cards of CR1000s at three sites. Everything worked well. Checked and downloaded winflux and met data from PC at Tower, Floor, and Vaira. Joe fixed the CO2 profile system. The soil CO2 probes at Vaira need reinstall because of cow invasion and dry soil. Measured soil moisture Measure groundwater well Measure midday water potential Vaira_Grass Site Fence and gate power: 12 v. (Joe replaced the monitor of the power.) Downloaded Phenocam images. (Joe) Swapped the memory cards of CR1000. (Joe) Swapped Li-7500s. sn 0073 off sn 0035 on. Checked the fans of air temp and relative humidity sensors at Vaira. YES! Downloaded met and soil CO2 profile data: (Joe) Checked levels of Radiation sensors, clear up surfaces.YES! Checked rain gage, make sure not clogged. YES! Closed gate and set up fence. YES! Tonzi_Tower Site Fence and gate power: 12 v. Swapped Li-7500s. sn 00418 off sn 0976 on. downloaded Winflux data from PC. YES! swapped the memory cards of CR1000. (Joe) download Phenocam images. Yes! checked the fans of air temp. and relative humidity sensors on the tower and the floor. YES! Checked rain gage, make sure not clogged. YES! Downloaded met data from PC Joe fixed the CO2 profile. 10. closed gate and set up fence. YES! Toniz_Floor Site Fence and gate power: 12 v. downloaded Winflux data from PC. YES! Swapped the memory cards of CR1000. downloaded met data from PC. YES! CR23X3 – floor-Met CR23X6 – tower-Met CR10X2 – floor-Met Soil CO2 profile: CR23X5 – soil CO2 profile Closed gate and set up fence. YES!
