We arrived about 08:25 PDT. It was sunny, breezy, and warm (22 C). The field looks more trampled by cow activity, but remains in full bloom. There was a decent amount of water under the bridge on the way in, and the cows were happily frolicking in it.

I checked the tower and downloaded data while Laurie and Yanel got to work doing spectral, well depth, and moisture point measurements. No soil CO2 flux today, the instrument was on loan to another lab.

Black ants have again found solace in the box, but they were mostly interested in the ant bait left over from the autumn eradication. If only the ants at West Pond were similarly delighted. The Loggernet computer was not on when I arrived, looks like it went out on 6/23. It restarted fine.

LGR readings: 1.82 ppm, 08:27, 26.3 C, 151.5 Torr (adjusted to 146 Torr), 12.63 us, 10 Hz

7500 readings:
CO2: 16.1 mmol m-3 (16.4 after cleaning)
H2O: 800 mmol m-3 (760 after cleaning)
diag: 248
p: 101.7 kPa
t: 25.4 C
sos = 346.4 m s-1

MET looked good.
Soil CO2 looked good.
Cleaned radiation instruments (not very dirty).
