Summary: Standard field work, things look dry for this time of year, no leaves yet.

2013-03-13 I arrived about 9am PDT with Siyan. It was clear, sunny and warm with little to no wind. There was patchy fog in the Delta and Central Valley on the way up. The grass in the entire area looks dry and over grazed. The puddle in the road near the Vaira gate is almost dry and the one near the water hole is damp but has no standing water. No leaves on the trees yet. I downloaded data while Siyan did the other field work. All looked well and complete. I cleaned the radiometers and camera window, but none were very dirty to begin with. Quite a few cows around. |
