2013-02-06 I arrived about 12:30 with Siyan. It was clear, sunny and cool with a light breeze from the southwest. This morning on the way up, the Delta was clear and still, while the central valley was very foggy. There are puddles in the road and the water hole is completely full. There was dew still in the shady place. The grass looks a little more lush than last time. I collected data from the data loggers. The CR1000 collecting the Stardot images seemed to work flawlessly. I collected all the data from the 23x and then uploaded a new program to include five new SHF plates (peltier chips) and thermocouples. Siyan installed the new peltier SHF plates in a profile in the side of a pit to the east of the tower. The values seemed okay but the second TC was nonfunctional and could be replaced. |
