Sherman Island: 2012-10-04 10:00:00 (DOY 278)
Author: Cove Sturtevant
Others: Sara

Summary: All data looked good. Took LAI and spectral. Downloaded data to check out ATI vs. Gill sonic comparison.

Sherman
2012-10-04

We arrived about 10:00 PDT. Weather was sunny and windy, about 19°C. The site continues to look exactly the same, dry pepperweed sprinkled with green pepperweed.

I checked the tower, swapped the CR1000 card and downloaded the data (since Joe installed the ATI sonic last week) while Sara did LAI and spectral. No moisture point or well depth today. The ATI sonic was visibly swaying horizontally with the wind, but with a long period and no discernible movement in the vertical direction. I wiped off the Gill sonic transducers and 7500 window to remove a thin layer of dust.

LGR readings: 09:13:52, 24.04 °C, 138.9 Torr (adjusted to 146.5 Torr), 13.87 us, 10 Hz, 1.86 ppm

7500 readings:
CO2: 16.4 mmol m-3
H2O: 610 mmol m-3
P: 101.8 kPa
diag: 248

MET and Soil CO2 looked good.
