2012-08-23

We arrived at approximately 13:30 PDT with an intermittent breeze and clear sunny skies.

I checked the tower while Sara took clippings and spectral measurements and Laurie took LAI. Laurie said that she saw some of the rice seeding.

Tower readings:
CH4: 1.9 ppm
RSSI: 20.5
CO2: 380 ppm
H2O: 700 mmol m-3
agc: 43.8
temp: 26 °C

I cleaned the top and bottom mirrors of the 7700. RSSI jumped to 69 and CH4 remained at 1.9 ppm. I also brushed off some cobwebs from the sonic and 7500 sensors. The 7700 reservoir was nearly full. MET readings looked good. Put up tower guidelines sheet.
