2012-08-16

I arrived about 11:30 with Jaclyn, Sara and Cove. It was clear, sunny and hot with a little breeze from the west. The rice field still looks weedy and sparse with no signs of flowering. Notes from last year on August 12th report a few heads on the rice, and in 2010 the notes say nearly full heads on August 29th.

We collected all the data and did the standard fieldwork. The RSSI was 41 before cleaning and 69 afterwards. The wash reservoir was full.

The DO was reading a high near 40mV. Jaclyn checked it and it seemed clean but it was in a patch of algae. She pushed it lower in the water and away from the algae at the surface.

Jaclyn washed the solar panels.
