Summary: Calibrated LGR, started computer, tipping bucket lost funnel and pyramnometer lost shield in wind - replaced, DO pulled from field.

I arrived about 9:30 with Dennis, Jaclyn, and Emily. It was cool and breezy with the wind coming from the east. It was sunny with a few clouds here and there. The field is drained but still wet with all the recent rain.

All seemed to be running okay. The LGR reported:

8:25PST, 17.01C, 130.91Torr, 17.042usec, 10Hz, 2.290ppm

I adjusted the bypass valve and then turned off the LGR. I started to swap in another mouse and keyboard, but discovered the current on was plugged into the wrong ports. I swapped the current mouse and keyboard plugs and the keyboard and mouse worked on restart. So I did a calibration with the 3.276ppm tank with 750psi. Last cal was Nov 24, 2010.

Pre cal: 8:42PST, 17.16C, 156.57Torr, 17.042usec, 1Hz, 3.347ppm – about 70ppb off.
Post cal: 3.277ppm

Before we left the LGR read:
8:55PST, 17.42C, 149.22Torr, 17.068usec, 10Hz, 2.176ppm

Jaclyn got about 750 images off the plant cam. We ran a 12V line to the plant cam and removed the AA batteries. All seemed well.

The computer was off. I restarted it and copied the data.

Jaclyn swapped the card on the CR1000.

Dennis pulled the DO sensor from the field.

The wind had blown the funnel and screen off the tipping bucket. Jaclyn taped it back on.

The wind had also blown the radiation shield off the pyranometer. Dennis swapped the desiccant before replacing the shield.

I need to spray some WD40 on the combo locks.
