Summary: Installed moisture point probe, swapped HMP45 shield, Removed old solar panels, computer needs replacing.

I arrived about 10:30 with Dennis, Jaclyn and Emily. It was mostly sunny with a breeze from the east. The grass and pepper weed is beginning to grown in the field. The cows had been fed all around our tower and were mostly hanging out there. Inside the cow fence the pepper weed and grass are growing well. The pepper weed is 20 to 40 cm high and the grass maybe 20cm in places.

I installed a new moisture point probe on the north side of the plot near the Soil CO2 measurements.

The computer was running, but when I started to use it, it restarted but got stuck in a restart loop. After unplugging it I got it to restart properly, but it restarted a couple more times before I was done with it. I need to think about swapping it out.

I swapped the HMP45 shield again, and the fan is not working.

The CNR1 was a little loose from installation last time. I tightened it up. The radiometers and tipping bucket were clear.

I pulled the old solar panels that use to run the met data loggers.

Jaclyn did standard field work.

Dennis and Emily took soil cores.
