Dennis, Daphne, and I arrived at 12:35 PST. It was mostly sunny with a slight breeze. The wheat continues to fill in and grow taller.

Today we installed Licor's prototype flux analyzer LI-720 which provides 30-min CO2/H2O flux, 3-d sonic wind, RH/T, and incoming PAR. Licor requested this morning we dowgrade the firmware from v32? to v31.8? Daphne connected to Licor's modem and accessed the internet to zoom with Joe. She downgraded the LI-720 firmware and changed the user coefficient following Licor's request. She removed the Sutron datalogger and installed CR6 (sn 2114) which Joe had configured to collect the LI-720 data. We had problems connecting to the modem after doing a factory reset. Turns out we had to use "https://" at the beginning of the IP address and use the HTTPS port instead of the HTTP port. Daphne called Israel from Licor, and he walked us through it. It has the default password that's printed on the bottom of the modem. Israel checked the modem settings and said it should be good to go.

Dennis installed the Li-720 sensor on the tower in the same location where the Li-710 was and measured its angle (316 degrees from true north). Dennis took spectral measurements, and I measured the vegetation height. The wheat is around 30 cm and covers the field homogeneously. Daphne collected the USB, MET, CAM, and zcam data. Dennis swapped the Li-7500 for calibration: sn 0073 came off and sn 75H-2669 went on. Z-cam was slightly tilted--fixed but could probably use some sort of anchor. Daphne cleaned a smudge from the zcam lens.

Old 7500 (0073) read: 434 ppm CO2, 411 mmol/m3 H2O, 12.4 deg.C, 102.4 kPa, 99.5 SS after cleaning.

New 7500 (75H-2669) read: 442 ppm CO2, 381 mmol/m3 H2O, 12.7 deg.C, 102.4 kPa, 97.4 SS
