Bouldin Corn: 2025-01-30 10:15:00 (DOY 30)
Author: Arman Ahmadi
Others: Dennis, Daphne
Summary: Li-7500 swapped, Training Arman, Power issues, Collecting data
2025-01-30 Bouldin Corn Dennis, Daphne, and I arrived at 10:15 PST. It was cool, mostly sunny, with hazy and cloudy horizons. Hundreds of birds were around the field, which is still flooded. The water reservoir was almost (~90%) full. Daphne trained me to download the data while she downloaded the USB, MET, CAM, and PA data. I recorded Daphne's training for my future reference. Dennis swapped Li-7500 for calibration: sn 0041 came off and sn 75H-2182 went on. We did not write down 7500 numbers before the swap. We uploaded a new config file and updated the pressure coefficients. Dennis cleaned the radiation sensors. LWin and one of the Apogee incoming sensors were dirty with bird droppings. Daphne fixed a power problem with the data logger that had caused some met data loss (diffuse PAR, VWC, HMP). At least one of the Campbell VWC sensors seems to be shorting and brings half of the power strip from 12V to 5V. She left all of the VWC disconnected for now since the field is flooded anyways. The other sensors were all moved to the left side of the power strip (diffuse PAR, VWC, HMP, sonic, ethernet power). The new 7500 (75H-2182) read: 454 ppm CO2, 389 mmol/m3 H2O, 12.5 deg.C, 102.6 kPa. The 7700 read: 2.1 ppm CH4, 67 RSSI — 81 after cleaning. We left at 11:30 PST. |
