Summary: Rain coming, swapped in new camera card, swapped barometer

Dennis, Arman, and I drove to the tower and arrived at 15:50 PST. This was Dennis’s first time at the tower, although we had come to the Ranch previously on a field trip. It was golden hour, mostly sunny and breezy with high thin clouds. A group of cows came to check out the parked car after we arrived.

Rain is coming starting tomorrow for 2-3 days, with more forecast next week.

Arman cleaned flux and rad sensors; we needed a wrench to loosen the bolt holding the boom. The wash reservoir was 90% full; Dennis refilled it.

I downloaded met, cam, and USB GHG data. There were only 2 days of photos on the old 8Gb CF card. I put in an empty 32Gb CF card and connected to the camera to manually run phenocam_upload.sh. I confirmed that RGB and IR photos showed up on the new card.

The barometer sn V2420003 has been reading low since we reinstalled this tower, so today I swapped it with sn W1020003. It’s the same model, so Just swapped the sensor; the cable, wiring, and program all remain the same. The old pressure was 97kPa and the new pressure was around 102kPa, which matches the 7550 pressure.

The RSSI when we arrived was 17%. 7700 wash spray is set to a 20% RSSI threshold. Maybe we can increase it to 30%. I didn’t test the spray/spin today since the reservoir was only 10% empty: it should be working and doesn’t have any major leaks. However, after looking at the data in the lab, the 7700 looks like it's being cleaned but the RSSI is not going up very much. I'll check the spray/spin next time.
