I arrived at about 12:20 PST. This was a quick trip to fix some odds and ends I missed yesterday. The weather is much colder and grayer than yesterday. I walked out from the parking lot again.

The NERRs folks were at their tower doing regular maintenance and adding a new PAR sensor (looked like Apogee) just south of their tower. They said the one on top often has a bird (kestrel or red tail hawk) standing on it. They didn't know who set up the new game camera either. I gave them my contact info. They visit their site about once a month.

I brought the tipping bucket funnel I forgot last time, however it still doesn't have a screen.

I collected the met data and it only has AirT and RH as I suspected. I uploaded a new program to save everything. I also fixed (maybe) the air pressure - it was reading the wrong channel. Reading the right channel it still seemed low 97kPa.

I added a grounding rod in the southeast corner but the ground was very soft there. Might need to move it. There is some extra slack in the wire.

I checked the voltage on the wash pump line from the 7700. Only one pair of pins seemed to change when I turned the pump on and it only read about 6V. I guess it still could be a bad cable and maybe a bad pump. Or maybe the port on the 7700 is bad. I need to bring more testing stuff next time and maybe buy a cheap pump.

I collected the StarDot images - more than 500. This camera has the newer firmware that saves the metadata text files too.

I put hose clamps on the met box to mounting bracket. The clamps I brought were bigger than necessary - I think the final size is only about 1 inch.

I wrote down all the serial numbers on the newly installed equipment

I left at about 13:20 PST
