Summary: Swapped 7500 for calibration, picam tilted--fixed

Kuno and I arrived at 11:35 PST. It was sunny and warm. There was a Ducks Unlimited truck coming in through the Sherman gate at the same time as us.

The staff gauge read 60cm.

I downloaded met, USB GHG, and cam data. The picam download would start ok, but then the speed would drop down to 0 within 15sec. I checked all of wire connections, redid some of the power wire connections, and cleaned some dead and live small flies out of the box and out of the screw terminals. The download still couldn’t complete. I restarted the laptop, and then had a minor panic because I couldn’t type any letters to log in; turns out the Alt key was stuck down. After I logged in, the picam download worked as usual.

The picam was tilted again. I need to figure out how to mount this picam better. The screw holding the conduit hanger to the 4x4 is loose.

I downloaded the miniDOT data and added a copper screen that I forgot last time. I checked the Campbell conductivity sensor as part of it routine quarterly check; the orifice was clear. I checked the precip bucket—clear.

Kuno cleaned flux and rad sensors. He topped off the reservoir. We swap the 7500 for calibration: sn 0073 came off and sn 75H-2182 went on. I uploaded a new config file, updated the pressure coefficients, and reset the box. All looked ok.

fresh 75H-2514 read: 442ppm CO2, 559mmol/m3 H2O, 24.3C, 101.3kPa, 96.6SS
7700 read: 2.0ppm CH4, 30RSSI – 72 after cleaning

We packed two cross-braces that we’ll drop off at East End later today.

We left at 12:30 PST.
