Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, cleaned picam window
2023-11-06 East End Joe and I arrived at 14:24 PST. It was breezy, sunny, and mild. The staff gauge read 60.5cm. Joe cleaned flux and rad sensors. The 7500 needs a new spike—we should have spare in the lab. The reservoir was full so we did not top it off. Joe also worked on cleaning the picam window since its photos have been looking more faded recently. This picam could be swapped out for a new one because the current enclosure has a weird gasket and corroded (non-stainless) screws. The RTC clock probably needs a new battery. The picam clock reverted to 2017-12-10. I reset the clock, wrote the clock to the RTC, and rebooted the picam. The new time stuck and all seems ok. To check the clock: >date To set the clock: >sudo date –s “08 Nov 2023 10:43:00 PST -08” (or follow the date format when you query the pi for its date) To write to the RTC: >sudo hwclock –w (you might have to do this a few times—there’s usually an error the first time, not sure why) To check the RTC: >sudo hwclock –r I downloaded met, cam, and USB GHG data. I downloaded the miniDOT data and swapped the desiccant for the miniDOT and water level sensors. The 7500 read: 402ppm CO2, 570mmol/m3 H2O, 22.8C, 101.2kPa, 89SS – 99 after cleaning The 7700 read: 2.04ppm CH4, 53RSSI – 82 after cleaning We left at 14:45 PST. |
