Joe and I arrived at 15:10 PST. It was cool, breezy, and partly cloudy. It rained a bit last night, and more significant rain is forecast for next week. The corn was harvested about 10 days ago, and Charlotte already has a few chambers out on the field. She will be checking with the farmer to see if there’s any more tractor worked planned before flooding. It not, we can move our soil sensors out to the field.

The road south of our field is now paved with gravel. A few big trucks drove back and forth while we were there.

I downloaded the met, cam, USB GHG, PA, and IRT data. The PA card slot spring mechanism is broken, but the status lights seem normal. We’ll see if the PA data is complete next time. I checked the phenocam clock and set the clock +2min from 15:22 to 15:24 to match the laptop time.

Joe cleaned flux and rad sensors. There was a little bird poop in the precip bucket that he cleaned out. He also removed the Arable game cams. The reservoir was ½ full; he refilled it.

We left at 15:30 PST.
