Daphne and I arrived at about 13:40 PDT in the land yacht. It was clear and sunny with a light cool breeze. I still can’t get over how tall and abundant the reeds look this year. There were some cars parked along the levee near the barn but fewer people than cars nearby. I think there was a barge in the river – maybe a meeting about some construction. A sheep dog carefully kept the sheep away from me when we went through a sheep fence near the gas pad. At the tower the water level was 65.5cm.

We swapped the 7500 for calibration here: sn 75H-2667 came off and sn 75H-2182 went on
2667 dirty: 415ppm CO2, 500mmol/m3 H2O, 21.2C, 101.7kPa, 94SS
2667 clean: 430ppm CO2, 400mmol/m3 H2O, 21.4C, 101.7kPa, 103SS
New 2182: 424ppm CO2, 383mmol/m3 H2O, 20.8C, 101.7kPa, 99.5SS
The 7700 read 2.1ppm CH4, 28RSSI – 83 after cleaning

We manually tested the 7700 spray and spin. It seemed okay but the spray might have been aimed a little off the mirror. I twisted the spray head a little to hit the edge of the mirror more squarely. Daphne uploaded the 7500A config file, updated the 7550 pressure coefficients and reset the box.

Daphne collected flux, met, and camera data while dodging mosquitos. I cleaned the eddy and radiation sensors. I also put on the waders and cut the tules surrounding the solar panels. Daphne checked that the conductivity sensor was clean and removed some fluff from the tipping bucket.
