I arrived at 13:30 PDT. Today is an off-cycle visit since I will be out of town next week. It was windy and partly cloudy with cirrus and some cumulus clouds. I didn’t see any pooled water on fields along Hwy 12, but some of the fields still look damp.

The upper boardwalk had slid to the other side of the tower, so I shifted it back. The tie-downs were all snug.

I downloaded met, cam USB GHG, FD, PA, and IRT data. The 7550 temperature thermistor sensor was not working and reading 36-38C. Not a crazy temperature, but not today’s temperature. This is one of our homemade sensors. The IRT data seemed fine after reloading the datalogger program last week.

The HMP60 had stopped working at the end of March and today I installed a new RH/T sensor, Hygrovue10 sn E3514. Its SDI-12 address= 4 and it’s wired to C5. I uploaded a new datalogger program to add this sensor and to remove some obsolete sensors (air pressure, zPAR). With the new sensor, AirT=20.6C and RH=43.1%.

I cleaned flux and rad sensors and topped off the wash reservoir. The LWin sensor was dirty with dried bird poop.
I swapped the LI-7500A for calibration: sn 0041 came off and sn 75H-2669 went on. I uploaded the new config file, updated the pressure coefficients, and reset the 7550. All looked ok. The eddy clock actually looked fine so I didn’t change it.
