Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, low water level, sleepy wasps, left a water jug behind, met Jaime again

Robert, Kyle D., and I arrived at 13:54 PDT. It was warm and still with scattered thin clouds. We saw some small groups of sheep here and there on the interior gravel road, although we didn’t drive through any closed sheep fences. Some more wasps here buzzing about, but they mostly ignored us. There was no water at the tower and the water sensors were all dry.

The tules by the road still look green and good. From the top of the tower, the footprint is mostly cattails, which were about 1/2 yellow. I couldn't see many tules except by the solar panels. Those seemed to be about 1/2 brown as well. It was hard to say because the color of the tules is much darker to begin with.

Robert cleaned the flux and rad sensors. The wash reservoir was about 3/4 full; Robert refilled it and we left the reservoir lid open since there were many wasps inside. I think we left the water jug here because we were missing a jug when we got back to the lab.

I downloaded met, cam, and USB GHG data. I downloaded the miniDOT data and changed its desiccant. I checked the conductivity sensor as part of its routine check every 3 months. I pushed a little mud and a roly poly out of the orifice.

Jaime stopped by in his truck to introduce himself. I confirmed I have his current mobile number.

The 7500 read: 415ppm CO2, 500mmol/m3 H2O, 30.7C, 101.5kPa, 99SS -- 102 after cleaning
The 7700 read: 2.09ppm CH4, 42RSSI – 80 after cleaning

We left at 14:20 PDT.
