Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, some upland plants greening up

Carlos and I arrived at 15:20 PDT. It was windy and partly cloudy with mostly cumulus. It was low tide and we could see some egrets near the tower. Bright-green grass was growing in the areas with slightly higher elevation north of the tower. There was no sign of life from the pickleweed around the tower, just algae growing on them.

This site recorded some rain on 2022-05-10 that did not show up in the other sites. I can believe that as the weather has been unstable.

The staff gauge read 4.0ft at 14:38 PST.

It’s been 3 weeks since our last visit here. I downloaded met, cam and USB GHG data. Carlos cleaned flux and rad sensors. The reservoir was nearly empty; we refilled it. I downloaded the miniDOT data but didn’t swap the desiccant.

LI-7500 readings: CO2 411ppm, H2O 364ppm, T 19.0C, P 102.4kPa, SS 97--> 98 after cleaning
LI7700 readings: CH4 1.94ppm, RSSI 34 --> 72 after cleaning

We left at 15:55 PDT to head home. We’ll visit the other 4 Delta sites tomorrow.
