Bouldin Corn: 2022-03-15 10:40:00 (DOY 74)
Author: Daphne Szutu
Others: Robert
Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, weeds coming up in field, rain overnight
2022-03-15 Bouldin Corn Robert and I arrived at 10:40 PDT. It was mostly overcast, calm, and mild. The field is dry and some weeds are coming up in the center of the field (the center of the field was last to drain). The edge of the field that has been drier for longer has filled in completely with grassy weeds. There was a flock of ducks on the field to our north but other than that we didn't hear or see many ducks. It had rained about <0.5cm last night and early this morning, and the 7500 SS was low here today because of leftover rain on its lower lens. 0.5-1cm more rain is forecast for Saturday. I downloaded met, cam, and USB GHG data. I downloaded the PA data and power cycled it. I downloaded the IRT data by swapping the microSD card and using CardConvert to convert the fast data to TOB1 and the slow data to TOA5. Robert cleaned flux and rad sensors and we topped off the wash reservoir. LI-7500 readings: CO2 458ppm --> forgot to write after cleaning H2O 440ppm --> forgot to write after cleaning T 17.0C P 102.6kPa SS 68 --> 103 after cleaning LI7700 readings: CH4 2.0ppm RSSI 60 --> 77 after cleaning We left at 11:00 PDT. We left via Joe's secret way. The path is overgrown but it doesn't have any huge potholes like our regular freeway onramp. In addition, there's no elevation change between the onramp and the freeway so it's easier to accelerate on. I recommend this way! |
