Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, low water level, wasps, changed eddy clock +3min
| 2021-09-23 West Pond Ari and I arrived at 11:30 PDT. It was hot and still at the tower. There were wasps buzzing around, but fewer than last visit. The water level is still below the soil surface, and the inlet was off. I’m not sure if Bryan et al. are still planning to do the levee work in the near future, but this site will probably stay relatively dry while the drought is ongoing. The miniDOT and conductivity sensors are both in the air. I checked the conductivity sensor as part of its routine check and the orifice was clear, although it doesn’t matter much now because it’s hanging in the air. I downloaded met, camera, USB GHG, and miniDOT data. I changed the eddy clock +3min to match the laptop time. We swapped the desiccant for the miniDOT and the water level sensor. Ari cleaned flux and rad sensors and I topped off the wash reservoir. LI-7500 readings: CO2 404ppm H2O 560ppm T 31.1C P 101.3kPa SS 93--> 98 after cleaning LI7700 readings: CH4 2.07 RSSI 54--> 83 after cleaning We left at 11:50 PDT. |
