Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, hella wasps, changed eddy clock +1min
| 2021-09-03 West Pond Carlos and I arrived at 14:00 PDT. It was hot and sunny with hazy skies. There were hella wasps flying around the tower and the sensors, but I didn’t see any specific nests or congregating areas. The water level was below the soil surface, and with all the wasps around I did not climb down the scaffolding to get a closer look at the staff gauge. The plants were still looking good despite the low water levels. I downloaded met, cam, and USB GHG data. The reservoir was mostly full; I topped it off. Carlos cleaned flux and rad sensors. I changed the eddy clock +1min to match the laptop time. I reset the 7550 and checked that the clock still looked good. LI-7500 readings: CO2 406ppm H2O 660ppm T 29.7C P 101.2kPa SS 97 --> 98 after cleaning LI7700 readings: CH4 2.1 RSSI 67 --> 83 after cleaning We left at 14:25 PDT. |
