Ari and I arrived at 8:45 PDT. It was mild and hazy with a slight breeze. Our corn is still not harvested, and I didnâ€™t see much harvest activity in our part of the island. Usually there are a lot of big trucks trundling around during harvest. All the corn plants are yellow, with maybe just 1-2 leaves on top that still have a tinge of green.

I downloaded met, camera, and USB GHG data. I downloaded the FD data and cleared its memory. I downloaded the PA data and cycled its power. I downloaded the IRT data by swapping microSD cards and using CardConvert to convert the fast data to TOB1 and the slow data to TOA5.

The wash reservoir was 10% empty; we refilled it. Ari cleaned flux and rad sensors.

We swapped the LI-7500 for calibration: sn 75H-2150 came off and sn 0041 went on the tower. I uploaded a new configuration file and updated the pressure coefficients. I changed the 7550 clock +45sec to match the laptop time. I reset the 7550 and checked that the clock was still good.

LI-7500 readings (sn 75H-2150 --> sn 0041):
CO2 427ppm --> 444 (seems like a big jump)

LI7700 readings:
CH4 2.28ppm
RSSI 42--> 80 after cleaning

We left at 9:10 PDT.

Looking at the data back in the lab, the PA data has a lot of gaps. There might be some power problems because I think it had trouble starting up again after the power cycle last time. Maybe next time I can swap PA sensors because we have a spare one in the lab right now.
