Summary: Trees starting to turn yellow-brown, swapped 7500, air quality seemed good but smoke from Caldor fire on horizon

I arrived at 10:55 PDT. It was clear sunny and warm. There was a cool breeze from the west that seemed to keep most of the smoke away â€“ I could see a smoke plume from the Caldor fire near Tahoe on the horizon. Otherwise the sky was bright blue and I could see a crescent moon. The trees have started to turn yellow-brown at the edges. There are still a few cows around. I went to the pond â€“ the water level continues to go down.

I did the well and soil moisture measurements.

I swapped the 7500, sn 0065 came off and sn 0042 went on. New config was uploaded, pressure coefficients updated and 7550 reset.
0065 read: 404.3ppm CO2, 465.7mmol/m3 H2O, 99.0kPa, 26.0C, 111.4SS
0042 read: 411.3ppm CO2, 470.3mmol/m3 H2O, 99.0kPa, 23.3C, 100.8SS

I collected the met, FD, camera, and flux data â€“ all seemed well. I cleaned the radiometers â€“ not too dirty.

I was hoping to test the two Ethernet line that run between the eddy tower and the met tower but forgot my tools. One line runs into the camera case and probably is still good but will have to have the connector cut off to get it out of the camera case. The other line has had its connector cut off and is just hanging out near the camera case. This one might have been bad and was replaced by the other one.

I went to the pond.

I left at 12:00 PDT
