Mike and I arrived at 12:00 PST. It was a sunny and unseasonably warm day with clear skies and almost no breeze. Itâ€™s been mostly dry these past 2 weeks, and weâ€™re expecting a wind event over the next 2 days. There was a new no-trespassing sign on the WP gate by the inlet. I forgot to write down the staff gauge reading, but it was similar to last visit, somewhere between 10 and 15cm.

The reservoir was 1/3 empty; I refilled it. I downloaded met, cam, and USB GHG data. I cleaned the flux and rad sensors. I removed the tower HMP60 (sn G4540025) because it had been railing high for RH and we have enough comparison data with the HMP155 to try to correct it.

I removed the Comparison Set (HMP155, ATMOS14, PAR CR1000 sn 4190) from the tower. I installed the HMP155 (sn R0360206) on the tower as the permanent tower RH & AirT sensor. AirT = 29C and RH = 48%, which were reasonable. I brought the METER sensor (sn??) and Ameriflux PAR sensor sn 060831 back to the lab so they can be installed with the next Comparison Set.

I changed the 7550 time from 12:06 to 12:07 and restarted the 7550 box. I then updated the 7500 embedded firmware for sn AIU-1570 from v8.5.0 to v8.8.32 to try to fix its consistent 7700 time sync error. The version is compliant with the Windows software v 8.8.36 that has a shortcut on the desktop. After the update, I confirmed the 7700 was connected, the GHG columns looked ok, the USB was logging, and the clock was still ok.
