Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, unseasonably warm day, removed eosGP sensor
| 2021-01-17 Sherman Wetland Mike and I arrived at 9:30 PST. It was a sunny and unseasonably warm day with clear skies and a little breeze. It’s been mostly dry these past 2 weeks, and we’re expecting a wind event over the next 2 days. There was fresh soil and sand on the dirt path where we turn off the gravel road and onto the levee to drive toward the tower. The staff gauge read 96.5 cm. We could hear occasional hunting sounds. I downloaded met, cam, and USB GHG data. I cleaned the flux and rad sensors. The wash reservoir was 1/4 empty; I refilled it. The eosGP data from sn GP20140084 for both Temp and CO2 were just noise, so I removed it to bring back to the lab for testing. This sensor has been deployed for a little over a year. LI-7500 readings: CO2 439ppm H2O 441ppm T 19.4C P 102.2kPa SS 103--> 107 after cleaning LI7700 readings: CH4 2.3ppm RSSI 45--> 85 after cleaning We left at 10:10 PST. |
