Mike and I arrived at 10:35 PST. It was a sunny and unseasonably warm day with clear skies and a gentle breeze. Itâ€™s been mostly dry these past 2 weeks, and weâ€™re expecting a wind event over the next 2 days. There was lots of cattail fluff floating by in the water and there was a fishy smell. There were 2 fishing boats in the slough and we could hear occasional hunting sounds from the tower.

On the drive in we passed 4 calves between the MB cable gate and the trailers; Iâ€™m not sure where they came from, and they were gone when we drove out. The staff gauge read 34 cm.

I downloaded met, cam, and USB GHG data. This USB stick also had the SW GHG files that I forgot to download during the last site visit that I downloaded today. I downloaded and cleared the FD chamber. I cleaned the flux and rad sensors. The wash reservoir was 1/3 empty; I refilled it.

The eosGP CO2 data has been noisy for a few weeks starting 12/22, but it seems fine now. Not sure what happened.

I collected water samples for Isabel at 10:35 PST.

The fluorometer data over the past 2 weeks (since I reinstalled the brushes) looked noisy again. I observed the brushes spin on 5 different cleaning cycles, and each time they stopped clear of the lenses. I decided to bring the fluorometer (sn 2300565) back to the lab for more testing.
