Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, breezy, water level is up a lot, missing last few days of camera data, first site visit in a month

Mike and I arrived at 11:40 PDT. It was a warm day with a little breeze. The wetland is starting to green up with dark-green tules poking up out of the litter. The main gate was locked, but we have the right combo to open it. The dirt road has also grown in a lotâ€”I parked by the EP inlet. This is our 7th week of sheltering in place, with at least 4 more weeks to go.

Surprisingly, the water level was way higher, 55cm. Itâ€™s come up about 50cm in the last month. I took some videos and photos with a 360 camera.

There were many ants and ant eggs in the datalogger box. I let them disperse for a while while I checked the inlets. Bryan said he had turned them on because we were complaining about the low water level, and the levee work will probably not happen this spring/summer. He said he left them open, and if they were still open I could close them. The EP inlet was closed already. The WP inlet was open but no water was flowing, so I closed it.

I downloaded met, camera, and USB GHG data. I reset the 7550 box because we had seen consistently low 7700 counts here, although there was no flashing time sync error. The camera had run out of storage space because it had started taking photos multiple times a minute on 2020-04-28 so we are missing the last few days of photos. The reservoir was 1/3 empty; I refilled it. I cleaned flux and rad sensors and left some mothballs in the datalogger box.
