Arrived about 9am. Fog has lifted, still cool and overcast. Field is still wet, but much of the standing water has disappeared. The drainage ditch next to the road is about 2 feet lower than last time I was out.

The project for today is to get the LGR trailer out. I started disconnecting and cleaning up the trailer, then met Aaron from LGR at the gate about 10:15. We got his 4x4 rental truck into the field with a little difficulty because the front hubs were not locked initially. The area near the tower was relatively dry and firm but near the gate is was muddy and slick. I was sure we were going to get the truck and trailer stuck half way. Aaron got the trailer started, spun his wheels across the muddy part, then got a little traction before gunning it through the mud puddle in front the gate. Trailer was out about 11:30.

Our CH4 LGR was returned to the lab. Scroll pump and CR1000 belong to LGR. Our CFM100 returned to lab.

I let Aaron out the gate then returned to finish cleaning things up.

IRGA and sonic still on second tower but not powered or connected. If they are to be returned to service, it is probably easiest to mount an enclosure at the base of the tower.

20Amp breaker for trailer power turned off and power cable spooled near the gate with the plug protected in ziplock bag.

Rewiring of data loggers to combine fast rad data with met is still in progress. I need to test things in the lab.

I dug a well and confirmed that the water table in the existing well seems to be correct, about 20in below the surface. Need to check this against the Druck data.

Left about 1:30. Stronger wind out of the east. Encountered rain on the way home.
