Arrived about 11:30am with Jaclyn. Dennis was already there and had cleaned sensors and done the initial checks. Much less foggy than Twitchell with a little north breeze. The field is much drier and we easily drove onto the field with a car. Low annual grasses are still green and pepper weed is trying to resprout but is mostly eaten by cows outside the fence.

I worked on rewiring the data loggers to consolidate the CNR1 and diffuse PAR data with the met data. I moved the CNR1 wires from the fast rad data logger and AM25T to the AM16/32 attached to the met CR10X. The fast rad AM25T was removed. Also moved the Druck water pressure and Campbell wetness sensor from the met CR10X to the AM16/32. See wiring diagrams for complete notes.

Program on the fast rad and met CR10Xs changed. The fast rad is now collecting only the diffuse par at 0.5Hz and has a routine looking for the minimum in each 5min period. The met CR10X now records the CNR1 data and polls the fast rad CR10X for the min diffuse PAR value every 5 minutes. Should check the data next week.

Copied data and swapped card.

Added the new dayofyear program to the tower computer but did not make use of it.

Dennis and Jaclyn calibrated the LGR but it had low pressure in slow flow mode, maybe internal filter plugged.

They also moved the Moisture point soil probes in the field. Need to think about ways of protecting from cows and tractors.
